This is the official website of the Blackwood Valley Small Landholders Group Inc: (BVSLG), a not-for-profit community organisation. The Small Landholders has been in existence for over 20 years. Its trading name ‘The Blackwood Valley Small Landholders’ indicates its origins, but it has application and membership today through much of the Southwest Region of Western Australia and in Perth.

Our aim is to support people managing rural properties – from less than a hectare to over 100 hectares in size. We organise field days, workshops and dinner events with guest speakers. We produce a quarterly newsletter and maintain a Facebook page and this informative website.   Our Facebook page – linked to this website – provides information on upcoming events and news.

Membership is presently $20 per year, with $5 per year for each additional member from the same property.  Members receive the newsletter, and access to the majority of events is free.  [Members pay for their own meals and drinks at dinner events.]  Choice of events is largely driven by the results of member surveys – held at our AGM in October.
